INSTRUCTIONS TO CLUBS
Kick-Off Punctuality:
Referees and Clubs shall ascertain that all games start promptly and on schedule. Any breach may result in a fine and possible forfeiture of the game by the offending team.
Game Results/Reports:
Teams must report the result of the game on-line, using their web access information no later than twelve (12:00) p.m. the morning following the game. Teams must report the game outcome whether the game has been completed or not. Names of scorers must be entered at this time.
Failure to report the score may result in the offending team being fined $50.00 for the 1st offence and doubling that for each succeeding offence as in Published Rules, Fines and Bonds. Failure to pay fines after the 2nd offence will result in suspension of the team until the fine(s) is paid.
Game Changes:
There will be NO changes to the schedule without sufficient written notice as per the constitution. Any changes after May 31 must be accompanied by a cheque or e-transfer for $100.00 for each change. Changes will be accepted via email to the league at LAWSLinfo@gmail.com but must be accompanied by confirmation of agreement of both club representatives. Game changes will not be accepted over the telephone! NO SAME DAY GAME CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED.
Clubs will not be penalized for changes due to Ontario Cup games or tournaments. Games that have been changed due to either of these reasons must be played either the week before or the week after following the original date.

Rained Out Games:
In the event the referee had to travel to a game that had to be called off due to unfit field conditions, said official shall be paid half the game fee and applicable travel expenses. The home team shall ensure that the game officials are paid their game fee and travel expenses immediately following the game.
Cup Game and Referee Travel Fee will be shared equally by both competing teams.
Miscellaneous Directives
The home team shall ensure that the game officials are paid their game fees within TEN minutes of the conclusion of the game.
Slight variations may occur with referees living outside these areas. Actual kilometers travelled to the grounds may be paid subject to the maximum.
There is no allowance required to be paid for assistant referees, as they are expected to travel together with the referee.
Ilderton, Nileston and Dorchester are considered part of London for travelling purposes and as such, no travel allowance is provided for referees travelling to these areas from London.
Games Not Played
Half the game fee plus travel will be paid to officials for games called off prior to kick-off due to unplayable field conditions, or teams not able to field a team.
Postponed Games:
ALL GAMES POSTPONED BECAUSE OF RAIN OR UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES MUST BE RESCHEDULED WITHIN 10 DAYS. FAILURE TO COMPLY CAN LEAD TO THE GAME BEING FORFEITED AND THE POSSIBILITY OF A FINE.
Cup Games:
Because the playing season is short and the availability of fields is limited, the League has the right to reschedule Cup games with 48 hours notice.
Team Sheets:
Each team shall complete a team sheet in triplicate for each game and present same to the referee 15 minutes before kick-off. The sheet shall include the full name, jersey number and Ontario Soccer number of the player taking part in the game. Coaches and manager information including Ontario Soccer number must also be filled in. The referee will keep all 3 copies until the end of the game and will return to each team at the conclusion of the game with game score, goal scorers and cards filled in. If a team wants to check player cards, they must do this at least 15 minutes prior to kick off.

Player Identification:
All players must have such identification as authorized by the Ontario Soccer an official of each competing team may request verification of all player’s cards prior to kick-off. Any irregularities shall be reported to the referee.
Grounds:
The home team shall be responsible for ascertaining that the playing field is plainly marked; that the grass is cut; for providing nets, corner flags and a game ball. Subject to the approval of the groundskeepers at private grounds, the decision of the referee on the fitness of the field is final.
Colours:
The Home team shall play in their registered colours. Should there be a conflict, the VISITING team must change.
